Introduction & Goals
Dear Parents and Guardians of the Class of 2025,
Greetings from The Friends of the Class of 2025! We are a group of parents who have volunteered to plan memorable events which will celebrate the milestones and diverse accomplishments of all students in Hopkinton High School’s Class of 2025. Over the next two years, we look forward to collaborating with the student officers, school leadership, and parents/guardians on two essential tasks: fundraising and organizing parent volunteers for special events.
A number of events await our students as they move through Junior and Senior year at HHS. These celebrations and time-honored traditions are beloved by students and families alike, but they require significant work and funds to put into action. Our parent group, which we’ve named the Friends of the Class of 2025, takes responsibility for certain events, while the school takes the lead on others. Chances are, you will receive solicitations from our committee as well as our counterparts at the high school. Please consider donating whatever you can to both. Our committee’s two main goals for the 2023-2024 school year are to fundraise, fundraise, fundraise, and to plan an epic Post Prom event. Prom will be held on May 10 at Lakeview Pavilion in Foxborough. The intent of the Post Prom event is to provide a safe, substance-free gathering for students to continue the fun after they’ve danced the night away at Prom. We are currently in the process of surveying students, considering past locations, and researching some new ones. While ticket sales will offset a portion of our Post Prom costs, it will still need to be subsidized. Any fundraising we do this year will bridge that gap and begin to kickstart our fundraising for next year’s Senior Parent Celebration, the highly anticipated end-of-year dinner dance for students and their parents/guardians.

Want to help us cut down on the number of fundraisers we need to make our class events a reality? Please consider making a donation right now. The more money we can raise directly through donations now, the fewer times we’ll have to bombard you with pleas to donate throughout the year! We are also looking for corporate sponsors, so if you have a connection you’re willing to share, please let us know. Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated!

Interested in getting involved with the Friends of the Class of 2025? We would love to have you! We will need a fundraising team, people to plan logistics for events, and someone to help design and maintain a website to house information about our activities and ways to get involved.
